As I sit here and wonder about our state of economy. It goes without saying that WE need some help and FAST! We can’t wait on congress to get their act together and compromise. Don’t hold your breath. We can’t wait on the White House to suddenly find 14.5 million hardworking Americans good paying jobs overnight. WE need to take matters into our own hands. People helping people is the only way that WE will survive and prosper this day and age.
Two Weeks Notice is a grass roots, people helping people, job referral network. It’s simple to do. When you leave a job, hear of a job, get that promotion, or unfortunately hear these words…”Johnson, I hate to tell you this, but we’re going to have to let you go.” then Let your fellow american know about the open position. The faster they know what’s available the sooner they can act without having to go through those big job recruitment firms. Recruitment firms where getting a job is like playing the lottery, and we all know the odds of that game. “Hold up, I think I hear lightning.” People helping people. A simple concept that has always seemed to work for us all. Besides, you might make a new friend.
Here’s a quick example of what to do. Just left your marketing job? Then post it up – Job opening in marketing department at (company) in (city). Leave phone number if you have one and contact if you don’t mind. It takes 1 minute or less to do that, but that minute could change a person life forever or maybe put food on a family table. Simple enough right? We thought so. So now you know what to do. Here’s where to go.
